AM Announcements

1. Today is Day 44.

2. It is the mission of Speas Elementary School to provide its students with the tools necessary to successfully meet the challenges they will face in a diverse world.

3. Calendar items for this week:

Ms. Powell is Off-campus today
Tony Bartoli Sessions - Kindergarten 8:45-9:00, 1-5 9:00-10:00
Dollar Dress Down Day
Pennies for Patients ends
Be Health School Kids Video - 8:00 AM
Quarter Testing - Math Active

4. Today is a Dollar Dress Down Day

5. At the end of each day please take the following steps:
a. Turn off your TV
b. Log off your computers but do not shut them down
c. Turn off all monitors

6. Social Committee dues are $25 and can be paid in a single payment, or installments throughout the year. See Ms. Johnson to work out payment of your dues.

7. Fliers regarding The "Retirement Information Center dates for 2008-2009 are in the lounge and the mail room.

8. The Toni Bartoli session will take place in the gym. He will meet with Kindergarten classes at 8:45. Classes should be in the gym and ready at that time. They will not be called. This will be followed at 9:00 with a session for grades 1-5. He will talk with the students for 40 minutes or so and follow it with a question and answer session. Testing will work around the presentation according to Ms. Marston's direction.

9. Pennies for Patients ends today.

10. The deadline for AR benchmarks is today. Make sure you turn yours in Ms. Fussell. You can place them in her box.

11. Ms. Powell is off-campus today.

12. All bus riders for #175 should be seated on the grass outside the cafeteria. The bus has been getting here early and we need to go ahead and load the bus.
