1. Today is Day 23.
2. It is the mission of Speas Elementary School to provide its students with the tools necessary to successfully meet the challenges they will face in a diverse world.

Dollar Dress Down DayStudent Council members will be selling hot Starbucks Coffee for $2.00 per cup during staff arrival and parent drop-off. Be sure to get a cup to start your day.
Testing Students with Disabilities meeting - Ms. Marston off-campus - 8:00-1:00

5. Student Council members will be selling hot Starbucks coffee from the Robinhood Road Starbucks this morning. The coffee was donated and is a fundraiser for your Student Council. Please support them by purchasing a cup for $2.00. Coffee will also be sold to parents during student drop off.
6. I am still in need of certified and classified staff members to work after school in our 3rd and 5th grade tutoring program. The pay is $25 p/h for certified and $17 to $22 for classified depending on qualifications. Drop me an e-mail if you are interested. Tutoring takes place every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon and will begin in October.
7. Today is a Dollar Dress Down Day. Students who have brought a $1.00 do not have to wear their uniforms.
8. Student Council Officers and Represtatives were inducted last night. Congratulations.
I don't mind what Congress does, as long as they don't do it in the streets and frighten the horses.
