1. Today is Day 20.

2. It is the mission of Speas Elementary School to provide its students with the tools necessary to successfully meet the challenges they will face in a diverse world.

5. Pre-K staff members who have not returned their Staff and Training worksheets to me should do so today before they go home.

6. I am still in need of certified and classified staff members to work after school in our 3rd and 5th grade tutoring program. The pay is $25 p/h for certified and $17 to $22 for classified depending on qualifications. Drop me an e-mail if you are interested. Tutoring takes place every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon and will begin in October.

7. To date I have only received the PLC reps from two grades. Please turn these in immediately.

8. Please complete your self-assessments. Ms. Powell and I are meeting with individuals according to the observation schedule and wish to complete all these on time. Come prepared to review your self-assessment and develop your PDP.

9. Please keep Mr. Ireland in your thoughts and prayers. His father passed away yesterday at age 103+.

10. Friday during morning staff arrival Student Council members will be selling hot Starbucks Coffee for $2.00 a cup from the Starbucks at Mt. Tabor Place. Please support your Student Council by purchasing a cup. It will also be available to parents during student drop-off.

A little more moderation would be good. Of course, my life hasn't exactly been one of moderation.
