5. A comment was posted yesterday regarding lesson plans. The comment and a response can be accessed by clicking on yesterday's post and going to the bottom of the post.
6. Please consider joining PTA. Your $5.00 donation will come back to support our school.
7. Diana Marshall-Shoaf/Arts Connection Team Lead will be here today from 8:45 until 2:00 p.m. in the media center. Please stop by during your special to select a time for the Arts Connection Team to work with your students during the month of November.
8. Remember that Dental Screening is tomorrow for Pre-K, K, 3, 5 and EC. Parents who do not want their child screened are to send a note to the teachers stating this fact. A note has been prepared in the office and placed in your boxes. It should be sent home today.
9. The current total for our United Way drive stands at $ 3,260. We are moving forward toward our $3,544 goal. Right now we are $284 away. It will take you to put us over the top. Thanks for considering a contribution.
10. Please remind your students during National School Bus Safety week about:1). Bus Stop Safety2). Proper Conduct on School Buses 3). "Bottoms to Bottoms, Backs to Backs and Book bags in laps."
11. We were notified yesterday that we will be receiving "new" laptops for the certified staff beginning as early as this week. Currently we are scheduled to receive 38 laptops. Ms. Smith will handle the collection of the old ones and the issuance on new ones.
