1. Today is Day 54.
2. It is the mission of Speas Elementary School to provide its students with the tools necessary to successfully meet the challenges they will face in a diverse world.
3. Calendar items for this week:
Friday: November 14
Honor Roll - 8:15
4. The Honor Roll assembly is at 8:15. Classes will not be called. They should come to the gym immediately following the morning broadcast.
5. At the end of every day:
a. TURN ALL TV's
b. TURN OFF ALL MONITORS and COMPUTER (CPU's)
6. Social Committee dues are $25 and can be paid in a single payment, or installments throughout the year. See Ms. Johnson to work out payment of your dues.
7. Fliers regarding The "Retirement Information Center" dates for 2008-2009 are in the lounge and the mail room.
8. Upcoming dates for your calendar:
a. December 02 - Holiday Program
b. December 06 - Holiday Open House - The Reichert's House
c. December 12 - Speas Meeting with Dr. Martin
9. Review conferences scheduled for today are:
Johnson - 10:00
Miller - 11:30
Linhart - 12:50
10. "Thanks" to everyone who attended last night's "Make It, Take It" night. Attendance was small but we reached individuals we might not normally reach. Classified staff members should see Ms. Powell for their COMP time coupons.
11. We will be meeting next Monday afternoon on our SIT plan rough draft.
12. A special "Job Well Done" goes out to Rose Rusch. Three of her students received recognition in the Superintendent's Holiday Card Contest. Kolbe Adkin's card was selected by Dr. Martin and Board Chairman Donnie Lambeth for special recognition. Riho Isa's card was selected by Ken Simington and Ana Guajardo's card was selected by Cheryl Johnson. We are proud of MS., Rusch and our students.
