1. Today is Day 53.

2. It is the mission of Speas Elementary School to provide its students with the tools necessary to successfully meet the challenges they will face in a diverse world.

3. Calendar items for this week:
Thursday: November 13
Linhart Field Trip to Reynolda Manor - 8:15 (postponed)
Ident-A-Kid - 8:15
Elementary Principal's Meeting - Reichert off-campus 7:15-12:00 PM
SIP Committee Meetings - 2:40-3:40
WS/FCS Staff Policy Committee - 4:00-5:00 PM - Reichert off-campus
Make It , Take It Night - 6:30-7:30

Friday: November 14
Honor Roll - 8:15

4. Tomorrow's Honor Roll assembly is at 8:15. Classes will not be called. They should come to the gym immediately following the morning broadcast.

5. At the end of every day:
a. TURN ALL TV's
b. TURN OFF ALL MONITORS and COMPUTER (CPU's)

6. Social Committee dues are $25 and can be paid in a single payment, or installments throughout the year. See Ms. Johnson to work out payment of your dues.

7. Fliers regarding The "Retirement Information Center" dates for 2008-2009 are in the lounge and the mail room.

8. Upcoming dates for your calendar:
a. December 02 - Holiday Program
b. December 06 - Holiday Open House - The Reichert's House
c. December 12 - Speas Meeting with Dr. Martin

9. Review conferences scheduled for today are: None

10. Classified staff are not expected to attend tonight's "Make It, Take It" night. Those who do will receive COMP time, however.

11. We will be meeting Thursday afternoon on our SIT plan rough draft.

12. Due to the forecast of rain, Ms. Linhart's class trip to Reynolda Manor has been postponed..
