1. Today is Day 50.


2. It is the mission of Speas Elementary School to provide its students with the tools necessary to successfully meet the challenges they will face in a diverse world.

Family Fun Night


4. All certified staff members are expected to remain for the entire Family fun might.


5. I want to remind you again that you are to TURN ALL TV's, MONITORS and COMPUTER (CPU's) off every day when you leave.


6. Social Committee dues are $25 and can be paid in a single payment, or installments throughout the year. See Ms. Johnson to work out payment of your dues.


7. Fliers regarding The "Retirement Information Center" dates for 2008-2009 are in the lounge and the mail room.


8. Upcoming dates for your calendar:

9. A sign-up sheet for first quarter review conferences is in the mail room. Please sign -up for a time that is convenient for you. Please check with the other individuals on your grade level so that everyone uses a similar form. We want to review the performance of every child and put strategies in place to help them be successful.


10. Classified staff who work Family Fun Night should see Ms. Powell for their COMP Time Coupons.

Mr. Clay told me that he had determined to use whatever time he had left to share his love of drawing with children and to show them how to create. Most importantly he wanted them to see that they don't need to fall back on "I can't do it, I messed up." They need continue what they are doing and move on.


12. We will be meeting next Monday and Thursday afternoons on our SIT plan rough draft. You will receive your committee assignments today. Please plan on this.
