10. I have received several ideas about possible summer programs. Put your thinking caps on and lets see what we can come up with. Don't worry about expense at this point. If you think providing transportation would help, then put it in. What kind of program would most benefit our students?

11. AR benchmarks are due tomorrow, March 31. All classes should turn in their numbers to Ms. Fussell by that time.

12. Ms. Smith will not be here this week. If you have surplus materials that are to be picked up by the WS/FCS technology vendor, please give that information to Ms. Powell immediately. She is handling it in Ms. Smith's absence.

a. Night Beneath the Stars Tickets are on Sale. They are $35.00 per person and this year's theme is "A Night in Hollywood." The funds this year will go towards the PTA and Student Council. We are working towards teacher allotments for next school year; agenda's; beginning a fund towards items purchased once all the revisions are done to the building; and Student Council Service Projects.

b. Teacher's Lunch Out is scheduled for April 6-9, 2009. On April 6th will be Pre-K and Kindergarten and the 7th will be 1st and 2nd grade. Please make a note and start planning with your grade levels. We will not be able to reschedule for absences. If there is a problem with this schedule thus far please see Shanta before March 31, 2009.

c. Career Day is quickly approaching for our fifth grade students. We are working towards being able to have at least fifteen students participate in Career Day. If you know of anyone who might be interested in participating please contact Shanta by March 31st.

d. There will be a Student Council Meeting held on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at 1:15 p.m. in the cafeteria and all members will need to bring their things.

14. Mr. Ireland is out today will most likely be out tomorrow as well. We do not know yet if the Warehouse will send us a substitute custodian. Therefore, please have your students clean everything off the floor that they can before they leave and place their chairs on their desks. Put all trash cans in the hall so they can be picked up more easily. Some rooms will be cleaned while students are at specials or outside.

15. In the end, everything is a gag.

When I'm working on a problem, I never think about beauty. I think only how to solve the problem. But when I have finished, if the solution is not beautiful, I know it is wrong.
R. Buckminster Fuller (1895 - 1983)

Nothing changes your opinion of a friend so surely as success - yours or his.
