Any staff members thinking about retirement at the end of this school year may want to stop in at the Retirement Information Center in the Career Center Cafeteria this Thursday, January 08 from 2:30-4:30. There are also Retirement Planning Conferences held around the state. A listing of these can be found on the NC Treasurer's website in the "retirement" section. Individuals planning on retiring should notify Human Resources 120 days prior to their projected retirement date.

12. Ms. Rusch normally handles our Arts Council Fund Drive. This year, due to her absence, I need someone else to head this effort up. I received notification today that the orientation meeting is this Thursday, January 08 from 4:15-5:30 in the Arts Council Theater in the Hanes Community Center. If you can attend and help with this effort, please let me know by e-mail.
