4. Today we take the EOG Reading tests for all grades 3-5. Please keep your classes quiet in the halls as there will be testing taking place throughout the building.
5. The Spring Extravaganza art show is fast approaching. The exhibit will be held again this year at the Old Salem Visitor's Center. You are invited to celebrate the creative work of our students this year. The opening night is Friday, May 21st from 6-8pm. The show will run from May 21st to the 28th.
6. Don't forget to turn in your pledge card for the UNCF drive. The current total is $740.00. Remember that the drive ends this Friday, May 21, 2010.
7. The SIT Team meets today at 2:40 in the media center to discuss and decide about budget and staffing for next year. Please make sure you have communicated with your representatives regarding your priorities and wishes. The Imagine It reading series is now optional
8. I will get a count on the Parent Surveys from Ms. Rhodes today and we'll have cookies tomorrow for those who brought them in.
9. Yesterday you received a survey from WSSU regarding Gang Activity. This is a system-wide survey. Please take a few moments to complete your survey and return it to Ms. Rhodes today before you leave. Thanks in advance for your response.
