4. There appears to be confusion about lunch on Field Day. Grades 3-5 will go to lunch at 11:00 in the cafeteria. Ms. Alston has arranged for all students to have 2 slices of pizza (cheese/pepperoni). Teachers will pick up their class's pizza from the Honey Pot Cafe and distribute it. We will circulate a schedule for the time classes should arrive in the cafeteria. You should have that information later today or tomorrow. Students will be able to go through the line and get a regular lunch. Please check with your students to see how many want a cafeteria lunch in addition to the pizza. Then send Ms. Bryant an e-mail this morning indicating your number so she can plan accordingly. If a child only wants milk, they will have to buy it for $.50. Milk only comes free WITH a lunch. Once 3-5 students have their lunches, classes may stay in the cafeteria or go outside to eat. Students in grade K-2 will come to the cafeteria following thye departure of 3-5. Times will be on the schedule.

7. "Thanks" to Ms. Corely for representing Speas at last night's PTA Spring Banquet.

8. If your group has not sent in their responses to the four Title-1 questions. I need the information by noon so I can send it to Central Office.

9. I want to commend PTA and Student Council for making all of the employees at Speas feel special during Staff Appreciation Week.)
10. I received more budget information yeasterday regarding the proposed budget that went to the county commissioners yesterday afternoon. According to Dr. Martin at the Banquet last night, the commissioners and School Board are not on the same page budget and further negotions are needed to bring them together. Whether that will mean more cuts or a revision of the cuts identified, we will have to wait and see. The board will not adopt its final budget until mid June. At that point all budget reductions will be finalized.

11. Custodial services has provided us with a substitute for the next two weeks. She will be responsible for the second grade hallway, offices, and remainder of Mr. Ireland's rooms and spaces.

12. Yesterday, Dr. Martin reviewed some curricular changes that will be taking place for next year. I'll be going over those with classroom teachers staff on Tuesday afternoon.

13. The following items are from Ms. Alston regarding Field Day.

A. Team Leaders need to report to the gym on Monday at 8:15.
