4. There appears to be confusion about lunch on Filed Day. Grades 3-5 will go to lunch at 11:00 in the cafeteria. Ms. Alston has arranged for all students to have 2 slices of pizza (cheese/pepperoni). Teachers will pick up their class's pizza from the Honey Pot Cafe and distribute it. We will circulate a schedule for the time classes should arrive in the cafeteria. You should have that information later today or tomorrow. Students will be able to go through the line and get a regular lunch.  Please check with your students to see how many want a cafeteria lunch in addition to the pizza. Then send Ms. Bryant an e-mail this morning indicating your number so she can plan accordingly. If a child only wants milk, they will have to buy it for $.50. Milk only comes free WITH a lunch. Once 3-5 students have their lunches, classes may stay in the cafeteria or go outside to eat. Students in grade K-2 will come to the cafeteria following thye departure of 3-5. Times will be on the schedule.

5. Ms. Childers sent around information about the Scholastic Book Fairs Warehouse Sale. Below is additional information :

7. Barbara Taylor will be out today. Ms. Chitty has the work for her students.

8. Remember to review data in your PLC meetings as we work to complete our needs assessment for our Prioritized Title-1 Plan. With the budget in turmoil our decisions about which programs and personnel to fun with Title-1 money become even more critical.

9. I have received a number of "Thank You's" for the treats and breakfast during Teacher Appreciation Week. While I appreciate your kindness, the thanks need to go to Ms. Corley (PTA) and Ms. Fletcher (Student Council). They have done all the work to show the appreication of the Speas community.

10. I will be off-campus virtually all-day with a Joint Principals' meeting and a Title-1 Principals' meeting. I should return around dismissal time. Mr. Cokley will set up for dismissal.

11. Please remember that we are operating down one full custodian. Mr. Cokley and Mr. Hummings are doing their best and we are in hopes that Custodial Services will have a substitute here for the remainder of Mr. Ireland's absence. All you can do to make their work easier is greatly appreciated. It the end of the day, make sure that you set trash cans in the halls; place chairs on the tops of desks; and have your students pick up all large tras on the floor. Do not leave books or other items on the floor that would make it hard to vacuum. Also have your students take care in the bathrooms so that they get tissue and paper towels in the trash cans and not on the floors. Thanks for your cooperation.

12. Please remember to keep a list of all students who bring back their surveys so those children can get their cookies. This is the classroom teachers' responsibility.
