1. Today is Day 139.

2. It is the mission of Speas Elementary School to provide its students with the tools necessary to successfully meet the challenges they will face in a diverse world.

4. At the end of each day, please do the following:
a. CLOSE ALL BLINDS
b. TURN OFF ALL MONITORS and COMPUTERS (CPU's)

5. The trip to Konnoak was very informative regarding Positive Behavior Support. The team will be meeting with SIT to discuss if this approach has applicability here.

6. Upcoming dates for your calendar:
a. April 20 - Interim Reports go home
b. April 21 - Marzano Staff Development
c. April 24 - Dollar Dress Down Day
d. April 28 - Technology Staff Development
e. April 29 - ESL Field Trip

7. A sign-up sheet for 3rd quarter review conferences has been placed on the board in the mail room.

8. We received an e-mail from James Lucas in Human Resources today reminding full-time certified staff members that all Teacher Notifications of Intent must be done by this Friday, April 17. Anyone who does not complete the on-line form will be assume to be remaining in their current job for the next school year and will not be eligible for transfer. So far 19 of 32 individuals have responded.

9. Don't forget to purchase your "Night Beneath the Stars" tickets. They are $35.00 per person.

10. Please follow Ms. Marston's directions regarding today's Cultural Fair. Be sure to stay on schedule. Timing is very important today so that children get to participate in as many different activities as possible.

11. Today is tax day. If you haven't filed your income tax you have until midnight tonight!

12. If you have not turned in your list of Honor Roll students to Ms. Rhodes, please do so before you leave today.
