1. Today is Day 137.

2. It is the mission of Speas Elementary School to provide its students with the tools necessary to successfully meet the challenges they will face in a diverse world.

4. At the end of each day, please do the following:
a. CLOSE ALL BLINDS
b. TURN OFF ALL MONITORS and COMPUTERS (CPU's)

5. The team going to Konnoak tomorrow will leave at 10:30. They are expecting us at 11:00. Lunch will be provided. Go ahead and secure your substitute for all day and you will have some help in your room until the time we leave.

6. Upcoming dates for your calendar:
a. April 20 - Interim Reports go home
b. April 21 - Marzano Staff Development
c. April 24 - Dollar Dress Down Day
d. April 28 - Technology Staff Development
e. April 29 - ESL Field Trip

7. Behavior Assemblies will take place this morning beginning with K-2 at 8:15 and followed by 3-5 at 8:45. Classes will not be called. Come to the gym in time for your respective assembly.

8. Completion of the Teacher Notification of Intent must be done by this Friday, April 17. Go to the Employees page of the WS/FCS web site and follow these directions:
a. Under the “Administration” heading, click on the link for “WS/FCS Administrative Resources”
b. In the left hand column under “Employee Related Data Entry”, click on the 9th link down "Teacher Notification of Intent Decisions”
c. Log in like you would to register for a workshop
d. Click on “Enter/Edit Teacher Notification of Intent”

To date 18 of 32 individuals have responded.

9. The following items are from Ms. Fletcher:

a. Don't forget to purchase your Night Beneath the Stars tickets. They are $35.00 per person.
b. Career Day is coming and we hope to have at least fifteen students participate.

10. Make sure to include reports cards in today's Monday Packet. When sending home interim reports, remember that parents can keep these. If you need a signed copy back, be sure to include to copies, one for them to keep and one to be returned to you.

11. There will be no staff meeting tomorrow. Instead, we will meet on Thursday at 2:40.

12. Remind your students in grades 3 and 5 who stay for tutoring, that we have a session upcoming on Saturday from 8:30-11:30. Breakfast will be provided.
