1. Today is Day 74
.2. It is the mission of Speas Elementary School to provide its students with the tools necessary to successfully meet the challenges they will face in a diverse world.

Title-1 Plan Peer Review - 8:00-9:00 AM
Elementary Assistant Principals' Meeting - Ms. Powell off-campus - 9:30 AM-12:30 PM
RJR Jazz Band - 10:00 AM in the gym
Thursday: December 18
Student Council Nursing Home Caroling
Christmas parties 1:00-2:00 PM
Friday: December 19
Dollar Dress Down DayBox Tops for Education collected
4. At the end of each day please do the following:
a. PLEASE CLOSE ALL BLINDS
b. TURN ALL TV's OFF
c. TURN OFF ALL MONITORS and COMPUTERS (CPU's)
5. There are breakfast goodies in the lounge courtesy of Hope Presbyterian Church.
6. Upcoming dates for your calendar:
a. December 17 - SIP Title-1 Plan Peer Review 8:00-9:00 AM
b. December 17 - RJR Jazz Band - 10:00 AM
c. December 18 and 19 - Classified staff members depart an hour early
7. Classified staff members are entitled to an hour off each of the next two days. Those with classroom responsibilities should arrive a hour hour later and leave a half hour earlier. Those without may leave an hour earlier than their regular departure time.
8. Classified staff members are to fill out their time sheets on a DAILY basis. They should access their electronic time sheet when they first arrive at the beginning of the day and enter their arrival time. Then they should access it again just prior to departure and enter the time they leave.
9. Patsy Squire will be here this morning to review our School Improvement Plan to insure it meets all the criteria required by Title-1.
10. Friday is Dollar Dress Down Day.
11. Ms. Merrill has TAC today. She needs any issues by 11:00 AM.
12. The following readings are scheduled for today:
Larson - 8:15 ( Please reschedule due to Title-1 Peer Review)
Johnson - 10:00 (Please reschedule due to personnel interview)
Kooken - 11:30
Say - 1:30
13. We will be stretched thin with custodians today. Ms. Clagett is no longer with us; Mr. Cokley is away at a funeral; and Mr. Ireland has a medical appointment. Please remember to place your chairs on top of your desks at the end of the day and place all trash cans in the hallways. Thanks for your cooperation.
14. Ms. Say has lost a flash drive. She misplaced it on Monday. It is a orange-blue-white Clinique hard lipstick case (snap closure with mirror ...The flashdrive is inside the case.) If you find it, please return it to her. Thanks.
