8. I will be off-campus today receiving NCI training.

9. I stopped by the hospital yesterday and saw Ms. Brawley. She looked great and was in very good spirits. It appears she will be hospitalized until Saturday. We do not have a date yet when she can return to work. She is a very fortunate individual. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

10. If you would like me to read a version of The Night Before Christmas to your class December 08-19, please sign-up on the sheet in the mail room.

11. Our Superkids officer, Kim Ruff, will be here December 15 through February 06. Kindergarten, Second and Fifth grades should sign-up for sessions on the sheet in the mail room by the sign-in sheet.

12. I spoke with Ms. Rusch as have many of you. She wanted me to convey her thanks for all the love and support she has received from the Speas family. She is hanging in there and is determined she will, "...make it through this." We look forward to the day she returns. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers as well.

13. Ms. Powell will be off-campus this morning with second grade as she is driving them to Old Salem.

14. I think my wife and I have everything ready for tomorrow night. Of course there are the last minute details that can't be done ahead of time, but those are few in number. We are looking forward to hosting all of you who can attend. The directions to our home from Winston-Salem, The King/Rural Hall area and Kernersville/Greensboro area have been placed in your boxes along with a two sided map of the route from Winston-Salem and the detail of the last 1.4 miles once you turn off Belews Creek Rd. Now, all we need is you!

15. Keep Ann Smith and her family in your thoughts as her daughter Lauren is married tomorrow in Charlottesville, VA. Lauren volunteered here and did a wonderful job helping fifth grade students pass their EOG's. We wish her all the best.
