8. A CD of Veterans Day activities has been placed in the media center. Please check with Ms. Childers if you would like to use it as we approach Veterans Day on November 11.
9. If you're not doing anything the night of December 11, we could use your help with the Student Council Sleepover.
10. We want to welcome Ms. Crystal Heyland to our staff today. She will be our new Kindergarten teacher. She is spending time getting to know the students and routines while we free up her classroom. Ms. Marleen Logan will be serving as her assistant.
11. I find it rather easy to portray a businessman. Being bland, rather cruel and incompetent comes naturally to me.
John Cleese (1939 - )
Most human beings have an almost infinite capacity for taking things for granted.
Aldous Huxley (1894 - 1963)
An executive is a person who always decides; sometimes he decides correctly, but he always decides.
John H. Patterson
If you ever start feeling like you have the goofiest, craziest, most dysfunctional family in the world, all you have to do is go to a state fair. Because five minutes at the fair, you'll be going, 'you know, we're alright. We are dang near royalty.'
