6. Individuals interested in taking mentor training can do so this summer. The sessions have been moved to 8/11-8/13. You can sign-up for this on line. So far we have had four individuals sign up to take the training.
7. The following student council members will be off-campus today:
Jonlyncia Vargas, Sakurra Walters, John McClurkin, Christopher McClurkin, Avery Denney, Chloe Fletcher, Jaleen Jowers, Cameron Parker, Christa Fletcher, Tierra Wilson, Nyketa Parker, Caryn Fletcher, Tianna Wilson, Jayshon Cornelius, and Kaycee Adkins.
8. If you have not turned in your Honor Roll names, please place a list in Ms. Rhodes box no later than 12:00 noon. Ms. Rhodes is out today but we will collect the lists from her box.
9. I would like to meet with all 3-5 grade classes at 8:15 in the gym. It will be brief but we need to get a few things straight for the last days. Behavior was off the hook on Friday.
10. Ms. Rhodes is out today as is Ms. Fletcher. That leaves Ms. Higgins alone in the office. Please keep that in mind when making requests of the office.
11. We will be preparing letters for students in grades 3-5 regarding performance on the EOG retest. We will get them to the classes as soon as possible.
12. Whenever I hear anyone arguing for slavery, I feel a strong impulse to see it tried on him personally.
