6. I would like to meet with staff members in the media center this morning at 7:15 to go over two issues that have arisen regarding student behavior in the bathroom and cafeteria. If everyone is on time we will be out before the students come in at 7:25. Thanks.

8. News from Student Council:

a. American Idol Talent Show would love to have staff participation. Please notfiy Mr. Cokley, Ms. Mincer, or Mrs. Fletcher if you would like to participate.

b. Please encourage your students to attend the show. The admission cost is a $1.00. There will be a hotdog and hamburger dinner before the show.

9. Next week's Staff Meeting on Monday will be rescheduled due to the fact that classroom teachers need time to prepare for Partners in Math trainings being held each Monday this month. We'll get you a date as soon as we can work one out.

10. In response to concerns expressed in SIT regarding folders and routing I met with Ms. Fletcher and we put several processes in place as a way of insuring that you receive folders prmptly upon their arrival and route folders promptly that are leaving. For new enrollees who have never been in school, Ms. Fletcher creates a folder and places it in your drawer in the filing cabinets. If the child is coming from outside WS/FCS she creates a temporary folder with whatever information we have and places it in a box on her desk. If you have need of any information please contact her and she will be happy to assist you with whatever information we have until the folder arrives.

11. There are boxes in the front lobby for donations of cereal to Crisis Control Ministry. We will be collecting full unopened boxes throughout the month.

12. Our author presentation today is scheduled for 8:15 in the gym. Classes will not be called.  Please begin moving to the cafeteria immediately following this morning's broadcast. If there is a delay for any reason we will notify everyone via morning broadcast.

13. Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation.

None are so busy as the fool and knave.
