1. Today is Day 167.

2. It is the mission of Speas Elementary School to provide its students with the tools necessary to successfully meet the challenges they will face in a diverse world.

4. At the end of each day, please do the following:
a. CLOSE ALL BLINDS
b. TURN OFF ALL MONITORS and COMPUTERS (CPU's)Don't forget.

5. Classified staff are reminder to leave at 2:30 today.

6. We can say a prayer of "thanks" today. George Burnette, a fifth grade student in Ms. Linhart's class was hit by a car on Saturday. He was hospitalized overnight with a concussion but had no other injuries. The car through him in the air; he then bounced off it as it sped away. Police have not made any arrests in this hit and run case. But George is fine.

8. EOG Remediation begins today. We will be operating on a different lunch schedule and we will send it to you via email. Watch for a crawl on your TV alerting you to check for it.

9. Don't forget to have your class complete the clean-up for your section of campus for Winston-Salem Clean and Green.

10. Tutors working with remediation should have all materials to be copied for the next day turned in to Ms. Rhodes by 3:30 each day.

11. I will be off-campus today from 10:15-2:30 at Equity+ Principals' meetings.
