d. 9/08 - Staff Meeting
e. 9/10 - Cub Scout Sign-up Night 7:00 PM
f. 9/15 - Gateway Meeting - 3rd and 5th grade students and parents - 6:00 PM

5. If parents come early to pick up children, remember to remind them that with the exception of emergencies children children are expected to be in school until the school day ends. Also remind them that they cannot pick students up from the office at the end of the day. They must park in the upper lot and walk down to the gym.

6. Someone deleted the earlier versions of the schedule from the shared volume. I understand that having multiple copies can be confusing. If you would like to delete a document from the shared volume, however, please ask before doing so. In that way we will avoid having documents deleted that were placed there for specific reasons.

7. We will move our dismissal time to 2:10 for K-1 classes and 2:15 for 2-5. We will keep it this way through tomorrow so we can see the impact of having all our Kindergarten students here on Friday. If things go smoothly, we will begin our normal dismissal times of 2:15 for K-1 and 2:20 for 2-5 on Monday, August 31.

8. As you continue to receive Parent Surveys, please send them to Ms. Rhodes.

9. This is a reminder that Ms. Uzcatequi meets her classes in their classrooms. Spanish classes will not be held in room #1.

10. I made a minor adjustment in the master schedule so that the times for grade level planning found at the bottom of the schedule reflected the actual times listed on the schedule itself. No classes were moved.

11. EC teachers: The Class Size Form has now been placed on Web Portal by EC. They thought it was there but it actually wasn't. The form has a due date of 9/11.

12. The average, healthy, well-adjusted adult gets up at seven-thirty in the morning feeling just plain terrible.

We are born charming, fresh and spontaneous and must be civilized before we are fit to participate in society.
