8. The Teacher Notification of Intent web site is open. The link is now up and available to teachers via the Employees page of the WS/FCS web site. All full-time teachers need to complete an intent form (there is a different process for part-time teachers). The deadline is April 16th.

• Click on the red “Employees” tab
• Under the “Administration” heading, click on the link for “WSFCS Administrative Resources”
• In the right hand column under “Employee Related Data Entry”, click on the link “Teacher Notification of Intent Decisions”
• Log in like you would to register for a workshop
• Click on “Enter/Edit Teacher Notification of Intent”
• Review the information page, then enter your SSN in the secure box at the bottom of the page to go to the Teacher Intent form and make your elections
• You can edit or adjust your elections as often as you like between now and April 16th
9. EOQ testing continues but just for make-ups.
10. As far as specials are concerned we will maintain the groups from last week since there is only one day this week. We will also use a regular Monday schedule.
11. Please follow the directions placed in your box regarding the move to the pod. If you need more colored dots, just let Ms. Rhodes know and she'll provide them for you. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. All access to the pod will be from the Polo Park side of the building going around the corner at Ms. Larson's room. K and Pre-K classes on both sides of the back building should keep the walkways clear for use by classes/students going to and from the pod. All students entering the building should still go through the front doors, then outside to the back building and/or pod. We cannot begin moving into the pod until Duke Power connects the electricity and the Fire Department tests the fire alarms. Once that is approved we can begin occupying the pod. Yesterday's storms and the resultant damage may delay Duke Power. We will have to wait and see.
12. Mr. Ireland is out sick today. That leaves us with one custodian until our substitute arrives around 3:30.
Mankind have a great aversion to intellectual labor; but even supposing knowledge to be easily attainable, more people would be content to be ignorant than would take even a little trouble to acquire it.
Samuel Johnson (1709 - 1784), quoted in Boswell's Life of Johnson
No man is exempt from saying silly things; the mischief is to say them deliberately.
Michel de Montaigne (1533 - 1592)
When everyone is against you, it means that you are absolutely wrong-- or absolutely right.
Albert Guinon (1863 - 1923)
The truth does not change according to our ability to stomach it.
Flannery O'Connor (1925 - 1964)
