1. Today is Day 120.

2. It is the mission of Speas Elementary School to provide its students with the tools necessary to successfully meet the challenges they will face in a diverse world.

5. If you or your grade level have not taken your visit to teacher(s) at another school, please schedule it for some time before March 29. See Ms. Higgins for the paperwork so we can pay for your 1/2 day sub out of Title-1 funds. Those groups that have been already have found it very valuable.

6. Last night at the Operation Lamb Banquet we received a check for $ 200 to purchase AR tests to enable us to close the gap between AR books in the media center and tets available on the computer. A special thank you to Barbara and her husband for helping us secure this funding. Ms. Childers has a list of tests ready to order. This group makes grants every year and they focus on providing funding for EC and special needs students. Please keep this in mind for next year. They gave out over $29,000 in grants kast night and some were quite large.
